Working throughout North America Mr. Rita?s credits include work with the Alley Theatre in Houston, Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Arena Stage in Washington DC, American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, Center Stage in Baltimore, Ford’s Theatre in Washington DC, The Guthrie in Minneapolis, Goodman Theatre in Chicago, The Hartford Stage in Connecticut, The Huntington Theatre in Boston, The Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC, Vancouver Opera in Canada and over forty productions with the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts, where Mr. Rita designed for many seasons.

 

He has designed productions starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave, David Hyde Pierce, Christopher and Dana Reeve, Lewis Black, Marisa Tomei, Melissa Errico, Betty Buckley, Kate Burton, Victor Garber, Eric Stoltz, Olympia Dukakis, Andrea Martin, Hope Davis, Blythe Danner, James Whitmore, Calista Flockhart, Christopher Walken, Cherry Jones, Frank Langella, Treat Williams, Justine Bateman, Christine Lahti and George Wendt.
